Team Canada and the Lynx

On August 3rd, Team Canada will visit Lynx Stadium to see the Lynx play the Syracuse Sky Chiefs.  The game will feature an appearance by the team on the field in the 7th inning stretch and a special appearance to throw out the first pitch.  Thanks to the Lynx for hosting us.  If you are in Ottawa, join us for the game.

Politics Watch

In sport, we all get annoyed with politics.  However, the political game is part of the sport game and we have to get better at playing it.  One group who is getting good at it is the Sport Matters Group.  They have done a great job in advocating for sport and that has helped us at Ringette Canada.

If you want to influence the system, and make a difference for sport, find your MP and send them an email to ask them how they plan to support Canadian sport and Canadian athletes.

Hi There.  Welcome to the blog.  I will be keeping you up to date on what is happening in the Ringette Canada office and in the sport.  With LTAD (long term athlete development), Come Try Ringette, a new strategic plan, and of course, the World Ringette Championship, we have a lot going on!  Keep an eye here for constant updates, and for the chance to comment, question and discuss what is going on too!
