In sport, we all get annoyed with politics. However, the political game is part of the sport game and we have to get better at playing it. One group who is getting good at it is the Sport Matters Group. They have done a great job in advocating for sport and that has helped us at Ringette Canada.
If you want to influence the system, and make a difference for sport, find your MP and send them an email to ask them how they plan to support Canadian sport and Canadian athletes.
